Helping Our Women (HOW) is a 501(c)3 community based non-profit organization located in Provincetown, serving Eastham to Provincetown. Established in 1993, HOW is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and has 2 full-time employees: an Executive Director and an Office Administrator/Client Advocate. Diagnoses of clients include cancer, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, heart disease, pulmonary conditions, mental illness and other serious conditions. Over 40% of those being served are elderly. HOW's mission is to educate, empower and support women as they cope with chronic disease and life threatening illnesses. HOW also has an open door policy to provide referrals and advocacy to all community members.  See Full Text.....
