Helping Our Women is a community based 501(c)3 organization that depends greatly on support from donors. HOW receives funding from the Towns of Provincetown, Truro and Wellfleet Human Services Programs and is supported by the Provincetown Harbor Swim for Life.

In 2006, 2007, and 2008 HOW has been the recipient of funding from the Cape and Islands United Way. In, 2006, HOW also received grants from the Cape Cod Foundation, the Hiebert Charitable Foundation, the Archie D. & Bertha H. Walker Foundation, and the Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank Charitable Foundation. HOW has also received funding from the Seamen's Bank Charitable Foundation and TD Banknorth, as well as from many businesses and individuals.

HOW welcomes donations of any amount and all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Copies of our annual financial statements are available upon request either in writing, by telephone or email.
